STUDENTS – M.PHIL, Ph.D AND OTHER RESEARCH PROJECTS
M.Phil: Many students have passed out from this Department.Currently 7 students are doing M.Phil. programme (Part time and Full time).
Ph.D : 6 students have registered for Ph.D programme under the guidance of Dr.M.Manivckam and Dr.V.Selvan. 2 Students of Dr.Manickam have submitted their Ph.D thesis and waiting for the Viva–voce Examination.
ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES
Every year we conduct the following endowment lectures.
- Narayani N & Kadayam S Sankaran endowment lecture .
- K.Subramanian endowment lecture.
- Harishchandra Memorial endowment lectures.
Eminent scholars in Various fields of Mathematics have been invited & asked to deliver lectures for the above enodwments.
Every year we coduct Olympiad for inter collegiate mathematics students and prizes are given to the first three students.
We conduct a test on Real and Complex analysis for UG students of our college and prizes are given to the first three students.
Prof. Dr. Skoruppa, Sigen university Canada visited our Department on 3-3-2008 and delivered a series of lectures for the students.
