Achievements in Sports
2012-13
This year our college had 12 University representations in different sports and 6 students have represented the Tamilnadu state.
BALL BADMINTON
Won the University of Madras B-Zone (men) inter-collegiate Ball Badminton tournament held on 16-08-2012.
R.Suresh B.A (Eco III year) and B.Aravindhan (B.Com II year) were selected for University of Madras, 2012.
BADMINTON
G.Bhuvaneshwaran (B.Com (CS) I year), J.Vasanthkrishnan (B.Com III year) were selected for University of Madras, B-zonal team.
CRICKET
Won the University of Madras Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament held on 30-11-2012.
T.Selvaganapathy (M.A.Philosophy I year), Kiran Kashyap (B.Com. III year), Ganga Srithar Raju (B.A.Eco I year), R.Jayachandren (B.A.Eco I year), and R.Vishnu (B.C.A III year) were represented university of madras 2012.
Won the Red Bull Inter-Collegiate cricket tournament conducted by Red Bull on 04-01-2013.
Won the Mohan Mullji Chordio Gold cup 20 twenty cricket tournament Conducted by A.M.Jain College on 02-03-2012.
R.Rohith M.A (Philosophy I year) were selected Tamilnadu Ranji team 2012-2013.
M.Adityan (B.Com I year), V.Akasram (B.Com I year) and J.Koushik (B.C.A I year) were selected tamilnadu under-19 category All India interstate cricket tournament 2012-13.
V.Ganga Sridhar Raju (B.A.Eco I year) were selected Tamilnadu under-22 category All India interstate cricket tournament 2012-2013.
FOOTBALL
Gunal Kesarla (B.Com III year) and M.Natarajan (B.Com II year) were selected for University B-zonal FootBall team.
KHO-KHO
Runners up in the University of Madras B- Zonal Kho-Kho tournament held on 13-10- 2012.
M.Prabhukumar (B.Com I year) were selected Madras University in the all India south zonal kho-kho tournaent.
ROWING
Inan Diwan (B.A.Eco I year) has secured Silver Medal in the ARAE Men Fours (M4) category of the 71st ARAE-FEARA International Regatta held on 13-01- 2013 at Paoay lake, llocos Norte, Philippines.
Siddharth Sunil (B.Com A/F I year), has secured Gold Medal in the ARAE Men Fours (M4) category of the 71st ARAE-FEARA International Regatta held on 13-01- 2013 at Paoay lake, llocos Norte, Philippians.
SWIMMING
U.Preetham (B.A.Eco III year) has secured 25mts Back stroke silver medal and 25mts Butter Fly Bronze medal in the All India sports Extravaganza, conducted by SBM Jain University Bangalore, on 17-02-2013.
TENNIS

TABLE TENNIS
K.S.Arun (B.Com A/F III year), K.Satwik ( B.Com III year and B.Sidharth B.Com II year) were selected Univerity of Madras B-Zonal Table Tennis team 2012-2013.
VOLLEYBALL
Won the Green volley Volleyball tournament conducted by Rotaract Club of Green Galaxy on 18-08-2012.
2011-12
Table Tennis Team won the tournament in the University of Madras B-Zone (Men).
Chess Team won the tournament in the University of Madras B-Zone (Men).

2010-11
The Volley Ball Team won the 3rd place in the Swami Vivekananda Inter-collegiate Invitation Tournament.
3 players from the Volley Ball Team were selected for university-B Zonal team.
Tennis Team won the madras university-B zone and Inter-zonal Tennis tournament.
The Tennis Team won the CMC Trophy All India Inter-collegiate Tennis tournament conducted by Vellore Christian Medical College.
The Tennis Team were runners-up in the Swami Vivekananda Inter-collegiate Invitation Tournament.
The Table Tennis Team won the madras university-B zone table tennis tournament and became runners-up in the inter zonal table tennis tournament.
The Table Tennis Team became the runners-up in the Swami Vivekananda Inter-collegiate invitation tournament 2010.
N.Jayaraj of I year M.A (Philosophy) won the gold medal in the university of madras and All India inter University power lifting tournaments.
Autul Jagadish and Kailash Siddharth of II B.Com II secured Bronze Medal in the All India Inter-University Rowing Competition.
The Foot Ball Team secured III place in the IIT State Level Inter-collegiate Football tournaments.
The Foot Ball Team secured the position as Winners in the Patrician State level football tournament.
The Foot Ball Team won the CUNNAN CHETTYS TROPHY state level Inter-collegiate football tournaments conducted by DRBCC HINDU COLLEGE.
Our Kho-Kho Team could reach the semi finals in the University of Madras B- Zonel Kho-Kho tournament. 4 players were selected for University B-zonel team.
The Kho-kho Team secured 3rd place BUCK Memorial Trophy conducted by YMCA college of physical Education.
Sunil Thomas (B.A Economics 3rd year), S.Deepak Murali(B.A History 1st year), and Prasanth K.Varma (B.Com. 1st year) represented All India Inter State cricket Tournament under 22 categories.
S.Ranjithkumar of II B.Com, secured 3rd place in the 400mts hurdles race at The University of madras B-Zone(Athletic meet).
R.Jayachandran of II B.Sc (Physics), secured 3rd place in the 1500mts running race at The University of madras B-Zone(Athletic meet).
Basketball team have reached the semi final in the University B-zone Basketball Tournament and 5 players were selected for the University B-zonel team.
Basketball team has secured the place "runners up" in the Chennai District level Basketball tournament where held at Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu.
Cricket Team, won the "Buck memorial Trophy" Conducted by Physical Education of YMCA college.
Cricket team, won the "Swami Vivekananda Inter-Collegiate cricket tournament".
Cricket team, won the "Quaide millath Inter-Collegiate invitation cricket tournament".
Cricket team, won the "KARIZMA ZMR Championship Cricket tournament conducted by Hero Honda".
Cricket team has secured the place "runners up" in the "Mohan Mullji Chordio Gold cup 20twenty cricket tournament" Conducted by A.M.Jain college.
Cricket team has secured the place "runners up" in the Vodafone cup under 19 cricket tournament.
Aditya Ganesh,Vignesh M.Mohan, Varun Anand of II B.Com and Ganga Srithar Raju of I B.C.A have represented in under 19 Categories All India Inter State cricket Tournament.
C.G.Gow tham of II B.Com, won the "Gold Medal" in the following Swimming Events(100m Backstroke,200m Backstroke,50m Backstroke,800m Free style, 1500m Free style, 4x100m Free style, 4x200m Free style, 4x100m IM in the 14th year Senthil memorial Tamilnadu state level swimming meet, Chennai.
C.G.Gowtham of II B.Com, got the overall championship in "All India Inter-University swimming competition" for the following events(200m Butterfly-Gold, 200m & 400m I.M-Gold, 1500m free style-Silver, 100m Back stroke-Silver).
C.G.Gowtham of II B.Com, got the individual championship in "S.B.M.Jain University Swimming Competition" for the following events( 25m,50m,100m Backstroke-Gold, 100m, 200m Individual Midlay-Gold,4x100m Free style Relay-Silver, 4x100m,4x400m I.M Relay-Silver).
S.Premnath of III B.A (Philosophy), won the medals in the State level Inter-Collegiate Swimming competition at Virudhunagar for the following events(100mts Backstroke, 100mts Butterfly, 100mts Breast stroke-First Place).

Jain University All India Inter-collegiate sports and tournaments for the following events(25mts Butterfly - II Place, 50mts Butterfly - II Place , 25mts Breast stroke - II Place, 25mts Back stroke - III Place, 4X25mts, 4X50mts, 4X100mts Free style Relay - II Place, and 4X25mts, 4X50mts Medlay Relay - II Place)
S.Premnath of III B.A (Philosophy), won the medals in the VIT All India inter-collegiate tournaments for the following events(50mts&100mts Backstroke - II Place, 50mts&100mts Butterfly - II Place, 100mts Free style - II Place).
S.Premnath of III B.A (Philosophy), secured Second Place in the All India senior level Biathlon competition held at Pune march 2011and he selected for world championship competition (London), coming November-2011.
