Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Chennai

The Vidyapith Hostel is run under the supervision and guidance of the monastic warden. The Hostel provides the necessary atmosphere for learning and spiritual growth. Prayers are held regularly in the mornings and evenings. The Jayanthis of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and Swami Ramakrishnananda are celebrated solemnly with speeches by the monks, Principal and other eminent speakers. Festivals relating to various deities are duly celebrated.

The Hostel also has a library of its own and subscribes to a number of journals, magazines and newspapers, both English and Tamil. Recreational facilities like TV and indoor games are also available.

Some students are being given free board and lodging and some others are given concession.
