The Department offers B.Com (Bank Management).

Salient Features of the Course Content

Quite a number of students have opined that this course has helped them both in their pursuit of professional courses and in careers as managers. This can be attributed to subjects such as Banking Law, Insurance – Theory and Accounting, International Banking, Banking Advances, Capital Markets& Financial Services, Treasury Management and Bank Portfolio Management. These courses are offered only in this course.

The Project work in the fifth semester helps the students gain in-depth practical knowledge about the domain of finance and insurance apart from Banking. Hence, it helps the students to have triple specialization in the field of Banking, Insurance, and Finance.

The In-Bank Training that each student undertakes in the sixth semester is another important feature of training given in this course. Being a practical exposure and experience, such training programme completes the process of understanding the subjects and their application much better.
