The activities of the VIAT are suspended with effect from 31.5.2012.
Dr. V. Sivasubramanian, consequent to his retirement on 31.5.2012, ceases to exist with Vivekananda Institute of Algal Technology (VIAT), a unit of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Mylapore, Chennai-4, and that all the funding agencies National/International are requested not to associate his research activities with the Ramakrishna Mission or VIAT hereafter.
