About Department

Mathematics Department is one of the department of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College since its inception in the year 1946. The Department of Mathematics is renowned for its distinguished faculty and outstanding academic achievements. As a postgraduate and research-focused department, Department Ph.D. programs specializing in Algebra, Analysis, Stochastic Processes, Statistical Analysis, Fuzzy Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Survival Analysis, Number Theory and Fluid Dynamics. Faculty members are highly qualified and actively engage in cutting-edge research, contributing significantly to their fields. Their dedication ensure students receive exceptional education and mentorship, preparing them for success both in academia & professional careers.

    5. Every year we conduct Olympiad for inter collegiate mathematics students and prizes are given to the first three students.
    6. We conduct a test on Real and Complex analysis for UG students of our college
